Rebecca Ersfeld is an artist. She paints with acrylics but her talent goes way beyond the canvas. She loves mixed media — making unique pieces out of old hardware mixed with fabric, vintage lace, old photographs and odd bits of things.

When Amy Irwin opened her shop, Imagine on Main, in downtown Oswego a year and a half ago, she was fulfilling a lifelong dream to become involved in the arts community. It was an unlikely move after a career in accounting, and also a risky venture. Her idea: open a shop that would support local artists by selling their art.
