KATHERINE RASMUSSEN, a graphic designer who owns a Brooklyn company called Reiter8, grew up in Concord, Mass., but spent summers on Cape Cod, where she learned to sail. It wasn’t until five years ago, though, that her life took a nautical tack.

Rices print sales to benefit wounded soldiers organization at Aug. 14 event

Shore artist Ellen Rice will debut a new painting in print from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, at The Ellen Rice Gallery, with debuting print sales in addition to all gallery gift, jewelry and home décor sales benefiting Operation Mend, a program that helps wounded U.S. soldiers.
